Inspiring!


The 2012 Season explores inspiration: what the power of music can create and the forces behind it's creation. In addition to the artists pictured above look for appearances by pianist Alexander Tentser, soprano Hannah Harrow, bass-baritone George Cordes and the Northen Adirondack Vocal Ensemble (Hill and Hollow Music) on July 8. On July 21 the lovely soprano Laura Enslin returns to Lake Placid and on July 29th pianist Navah Perlman makes a Lake Placid debut with a Beethoven Concerto. The Sinfonietta's own Ann Alton, joined by colleagues Christine Coyiuto and Michael Emery as the ACE trio perform on August 5 and Concertmaster Daniel Szasz is featured in the concert August 12 as well as David Pandolfi and Adam Pandolfi in a Suite for two horns. Tickets are available June 1 at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts box office.

2012 Concerts

2012 Symphony Series July 8, 15, 21, 29, August 5 and 12 in the intimate theater of the Lake Placid Center for the Arts. All dates are Sunday evenings except for July 21 and curtain time for all concerts is 7:30. Consider a series ticket purchase which gives you the same seating at all six or any four concerts! Six FREE Park Series concerts held Wednesday nights in downtown Lake Placid and at St. Agnes Church on those evenings with less than perfect weather will begin July 4, 2012.
The 2012 Adirondack Series will include concerts in North Creek (July 7) & Tupper Lake July 26). Two more locations TBA.
