Tony Oliver

Percussion

Tony Oliver returns for his 26th season with the Lake Placid Sinfonietta.
When not in Lake Placid, Tony is a member of the Quad City Symphony Orchestra (IA/IL) and Associate Professor of Music at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, where he teaches and directs a variety of music courses, ensembles, and all things percussive.
He is proprietor of Curving Walkway Publications, an imprint distributing his own and colleague’s works for percussion and winds, and an artist with Pearl/Adams percussion.
He holds degrees from the University of Iowa (BM, MA) and the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University (DMA).
